Mark Walsh quitte Pixar.

« Bonne route, partenaire ! »

Artists come and go at Pixar Animation Studios. Yet the departure of some leaves a stronger mark than others. Having completed 18 years’ service within Pixar Animation Studios (who are celebrating this 29th anniversary this year), Mark Walsh is leaving the company to head off on new adventures.

His name may not ring a bell, yet he was involved in the making of numerous film productions. For starters, he worked as an animator from the moment he arrived at the studio in August 1997 on films such as A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo (on which he was directing animator), The Incredibles, Ratatouille and the short film Presto. He subsequently wrote and directed the short film Toy Story Toons: Partysaurus Rex.

The reason why Mark Walsh has earned a special article on his departure is because his kindness left a lasting impression on us during the interview we conducted in late 2012.

We wish him all the best of luck and success with the new endeavours that await him in his new career!

“So long, partner!”
